Attractively furnished and decorated in warm and inviting colours, Thorpe Cottage has everything you need for a truly memorable holiday.
The lounge, which is kept snug and cosy with its log burner and underfloor heating, provides the perfect space to relax in the evening.
There is a separate dining area where you can eat, listen to music on the stereo/cd player, read some of the many books in the cottage or play a selection of board games.

The well-equipped kitchen with its contrasting walnut and glossy cream units and slate floor comes complete with a touch top halogen hob and electric oven, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave and dishwasher. A washer dryer is situated in the cottage outbuilding, which also houses the outdoor garden furniture.

The two bedrooms are tastefully furnished and consist of a double room with king-size bed and a twin room with two single beds. The solid pine beds feature plump locally-made Dales mattresses, which have proved very popular with guests!

The bathroom features a whirlpool bath with a thermostatically-controlled shower, and its quaint curvy walls have been tiled with warm coloured stone.
At the rear of the cottage is the quiet courtyard garden with climbing clematis and honeysuckle, fragrant lavender, herbs and geraniums. Sit on the bench under the old Masham Post Office sign or draw up a chair around the wooden dining table.

Welcome pack of milk, tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival.
Bed linen and towels provided.
Logs for first night’s fire are also provided.
The cottage is centrally heated throughout with constant hot water.
Children are most welcome – a travel cot, wooden highchair and a stair gate are provided on request.
Good selection of local guidebooks and maps for you to use during your stay
Changeover date is on a Saturday for week bookings.
Short breaks available throughout the year – bookable at any time during winter months. Restrictions apply at other times of the year.
We have a no pets and no smoking policy to ensure the comfort of all guests.
Guests returning within 12 months of their stay receive a 10% discount.
