| Welcome to Thorpe Cottage |
A warm Yorkshire welcome awaits you at Thorpe Cottage, Masham.
Thorpe Cottage is a beautifully furnished self-catering holiday cottage situated in the
friendly market town of Masham - known locally as The Gateway to the Dales.

We have worked hard to retain the traditional feel of the cottage with its stone
fireplaces, beams and quirky sloping walls whilst ensuring guests have every comfort
you need to be able to forget your worries as soon as you arrive and really begin to
relax.
“Immaculate, well-presented and well-equipped cottage with lovely personal touches.”

Masham, itself, is set in the picturesque countryside of lower Wensleydale and the
historic town with its interesting history and traditions provides fantastic access not
just to Wensleydale but also to the surrounding Yorkshire Dales’ of Swaledale,
Uredale and Nidderdale whether you are exploring on foot, bike or car.

In winter you can enjoy the warmth and glow of a real log fire in the cosy lounge
with its multi-coloured slate tiles and underfloor heating or soak your cares away in
the luxury whirlpool bath.

In spring and summer you can unwind in the sunny
courtyard garden enjoying a glass of wine or two whilst planning your next day’s
adventures.
“Cottage is fantastic, like a home from home. Excellent location to explore Masham and beyond”

The cottage, which has two bedrooms and sleeps four people, is quietly situated just
